Being part of our independent association means we are organized; we share resources and can act collectively. Staying organized is not easy. We’ll need to communicate with each other, train each other, elect chapter delegates and representatives, and may, if needed also require to hire a legal team. To achieve all that, we have team up with the AAFD a national non-profit trade association representing the rights and interests of franchisees and independent dealers throughout the United States. The AAFD was formed by Declaration of Trust in May of 1992 with the original mission of “Bringing Fairness to Franchising.” Together, we foster a spirit of collaboration within our franchise system, to provide a common voice for our independent association, and channel proactive energies to resolve common problems and develop better approaches to operating our businesses.
